Ayurveda and Addiction Recovery
Ayurveda offers a holistic approach to reconnecting with the mind, body, and daily rhythms that support well-being.
At Inspire Jewel Wellness, I combine Ayurvedic wisdom with recovery-informed support to help you create practices that support balance, awareness, and personal growth.
A Holistic Approach to Recovery
Recovery involves caring for the whole person: the mind, body, daily habits, relationships, and overall well-being.
Through practices such as mindful nutrition, daily rhythms, movement, meditation, and self-awareness, Ayurvedic principles can support the creation of healthy routines and a more balanced lifestyle during the recovery journey.

Why I Combine Ayurveda and Recovery Support
My own recovery journey changed the way I understand healing, self-awareness, and the importance of creating a life that feels aligned.
Through Ayurveda, I discovered a deeper understanding of the connection between daily habits, the body, and the mind. It gave me another lens for understanding balance, awareness, and the practices that support overall well-being.
Bringing together my personal experience in recovery and my Ayurvedic training allows me to offer a holistic, recovery-informed approach that honors the whole person.
Understanding the Three Gunas
In Ayurveda, the three Gunas describe the qualities that influence the mind and our experience of the world: Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas.
These qualities are always present within us and can shift based on our environment, daily habits, experiences, and choices.
Sattva represents clarity, balance, and awareness.
Rajas represents movement, activity, and stimulation.
Tamas represents rest, heaviness, and withdrawal.
By becoming aware of these patterns, we can begin to understand our thoughts, behaviors, and daily rhythms with greater compassion and awareness.
Through Ayurvedic practices, we can cultivate more balance and create supportive habits that align with the life we want to build.

The Gunas and Patterns of the Mind
Ayurveda teaches that the mind is influenced by three qualities: Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas. These qualities shape how we experience ourselves, our emotions, our choices, and the world around us.
In recovery, developing awareness of our patterns can create space for intentional choices. Ayurveda invites us to notice what influences our state of mind and explore practices that support clarity, stability, and connection.
By cultivating more Sattva through mindful practices, nourishment, and self-awareness, we can create a foundation that supports personal growth and a more balanced way of living.
